2. Log in to Amazon ECR using the following command:


aws ecr get-login-password | docker login --username AWS --password-stdin aws_account_id.dkr.ecr.region.amazonaws.com


Replace aws_account_id and region with the appropriate values.

3. Push your Docker image to Amazon ECR using the following command:


docker push aws_account_id.dkr.ecr.region.amazonaws.com/your-repository-name:latest


Replace aws_account_id, region and your-repository-name with the appropriate values.

Step 4: Create an Amazon EKS cluster

After pushing your Docker image to Amazon ECR, the next step is to create an Amazon EKS cluster. Here's how to do it:

1. Log in to the AWS Management Console and navigate to the Amazon EKS service.

2. Click on "Create cluster".

3. Choose "Custom" as the cluster type.

4. Provide a name and description for your cluster.

5. Configure the networking settings, including the VPC, subnets, and security groups.

6. Choose the appropriate Kubernetes version and node group settings.

7. Click "Create" to create your Amazon EKS cluster.

After creating your Amazon EKS cluster, the final step is to deploy your Docker container to the cluster using Kubernetes. Here's how to do it:

1. Create a Kubernetes deployment configuration file, such as deployment.yaml, that defines the desired state of your deployment. For example:

3. Expose your deployment using a Kubernetes service. Create a Kubernetes service configuration file, such as service.yaml, that defines the desired state of your service. For example:

Comparison and Suitable Approach for Production Workloads

All four approaches are suitable for deploying static websites to AWS, but each has its strengths and weaknesses.

Amazon S3 is the easiest and most cost-effective option, but it doesn't provide advanced deployment features such as automatic scaling or monitoring.

Elastic Beanstalk is more feature-rich and provides automatic scaling, monitoring, and deployment options. However, it's limited to only hosting web applications that can run on an Apache or Nginx web server.

Elastic Container Service and Elastic Kubernetes Service are more complex and require a deeper understanding of containerization and orchestration. However, they provide advanced features such as automatic scaling, load balancing, and container orchestration that are essential for production workloads.
